PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a high-performance coating process that transforms the surface of steel without altering its structural properties.

Here is a brief overview of how it works:

  1. Evaporation: In a vacuum chamber, special noble metals are sublimated or vaporised using high-intensity energy sources.
  2. Transport: The vapour of ionised atoms travels through the vacuum towards the object to be coated.
  3. Deposition: The atoms condense and bond at a molecular level to the surface of the metal, creating an ultra-thin, ultra-resistant film.
