Foster Pot Detector is a special function for induction hobs which optimises energy efficiency. The Foster Pot Detector function not only detects if pots are present but also calculates their base area. This system allows you to use energy even more efficiently. If the pot is taken off the induction hob, the plates are automatically disabled.
